After nearly six years of not issuing smartphones in Europe, Panasonic has announced it will launch a smartphone in March 2012 in Europe. Panasonic does not sell mobile phones in Europe since 2006, but still making phones for the Japanese market. The new phone will be released in Europe in March 2012, then followed in the United States, China and other countries in Asia.
Smartphones made by Panasonic is rumored to be 4.3-inch OLED display screen and waterproof. While this company has not confirmed the other specifications of the mobile phone. Panasonic expects to sell 1.5 million smartphones in Europe in the next financial year, with the goal of reaching 15 million mobile phones around the world in 2016.
